THE HARD MARKER

After having shot a rival in the neck, following a dispute over an illegal card game in Surry Hills’ notorious Frog Hollow, well known stand-over man and habitual criminal, Rhys ‘the hard marker’ Muldoon, was arrested outside Kate Leigh's sly grog shop on Devonshire St, Surry Hills. He was found to be in possession of a police issue service revolver, which he claimed to be “minding for a friend.” He was eventually convicted of manslaughter, consorting, theft, illegal possession of a firearm and indecent language.
